BUD Special Fund
The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government’s “Dedicated Fund on Branding, Upgrading and Domestic Sales” (referred to as the “BUD Fund”) assists small and medium-sized enterprises, including start-ups, with each enterprise eligible for up to HK$6 million in funding under a single project. Non-listed enterprises with substantive business operations in Hong Kong are eligible to apply for funding. Eligibility is not restricted by industry sector—whether manufacturing or service-based—nor by whether the enterprise already has business operations in mainland China
SME Export Marketing Fund (EMF)
The SME Export Marketing Fund is specifically designed to support small and medium-sized enterprises in expanding into overseas markets. There is no limit on the number of applications for the SME Export Marketing Fund (EMF). Each grant covers 50% of project expenses, up to a maximum of HK$100,000. The cumulative funding ceiling per enterprise is HK$800,000
